Noise - Plenty, plenty of it everywhere. The quaffle, the excitement, the Quidditch match - Bellatrix had forgotten all of it in one instant.

And she was speeding downwards, speeding even as the Headmaster jumped to his feet to make sure Evan's landing was gentle, not one causing any further injury to him.

"Is he alright?"

"Who thwacked the bludger?"

"Why wasn't he looking?"

Bellatrix bit her lip, her hair a perfect disorder, as she stared down at an unconscious Evan. What she wanted to do now, she could not help thinking, was to kiss him.
