Bellatrix dived, the wind lashing her dark hair across her cheeks. He should have sped by, Evan, and that had been what he had planned to do. But he could not help looking in the direction she was looking, and he felt as if someone had slapped him when he did.

The new French guy everyone talked about, these days - Arnold Crosket, wasn't that his name? - was clapping loudly, his blue eyes never leaving her figure. And Bellatrix, eyes burning, was staring back.

There was a loud thud and, a second later, Evan Rosier was spiralling downwards.
