He stopped midsentence, his interest suddenly wandering. Completely. Bellatrix Black was walking towards the pitch and joining the line of those trying out, a highly polished, expensive-looking broomstick over her bare, creamy shoulder.

“But why?” The annoying first year was persisting unhappily.

Not even looking at her, Evan blew his whistle.

It was time tryouts commenced.
