Silence in the Snow
Theme # 32: Common room

There had been another bout of snow, in the evening. Almost all the students were outside, bathing in the white-grey fall.

Bellatrix Black was an exception.

She sat in the Slytherin common room, alone, her head buried into her shoulders. She hated Evan Rosier, she was sure of that. What she could not understand was why, when she loathed him so deeply, was she disturbed by the scene the night before last had shown her.

He's popular, isn't he? SUPPOSEDLY handsome, too. Why did I think he wouldn't have a girlfriend?

WHAT DID IT MATTER, ANYWAY?
