A ball? Bellatrix Black narrowed her eyes as their Head of House explained about the annual ball that took place after the end-of-year exams, already sure it could never match the standard that the Blacks' grand balls were known throughout the Wizarding World for.

"I'm not attending your stupid ball," she said scathingly, swinging her legs off the side of her chair, to leave the Care of Magical Creatures classroom. "I can find a dozen, more pleasurable things to do."

"Want to spend the night with me instead, Black?" Evan called from the end of the classroom.
