Double Agent Stamps! Abby gets up off the floor and examines her coat. It and her rear end was covered in mud. Well it is Herbology after all. You're suppose to get a little dirty when you pot plants. She walks up to the big tray of puffapods. Abby looks them over and finds the perfect one for her. She uses her fingers to loosens the dirt around the plant trying very hard to feel where the roots are. Abby then gently pulls the plant up. Then she notices this one has a pod on it. Great how am I going to get this plant to my table without dropping this pod on the floor and having blooming flowers everywhere? Abby hold the plant in her right hand and gently grabs the pod with her left hand. Then she walks as carefully as she can to the table. When she gets to her place, Abby puts the plant on a wet cloth. Since she wasn't sure exactly what size her plant's roots would be, Abby decided to wait until she had her plant to dig a hole. She measure the roots, and then marks off how big the hole should be. Abby digs a small hole and banks the dirt up until the hole is big and deep enough. She then massages the roots and seperates them with her fingers. When she's sure the roots are right, Abby places her plant's roots in the center of the hole making sure the pod rest on the lip of the pot. Abby then starts moving the dirt back on top of the roots. She then adds some extra dirt until the plant is securely in place. Abby pats the dirt down and checks to make sure the plant can stand on its own and doesn't need to be staked. When she sure everything is fine, she points her wand at the dirt and gently says "Aguamenti." Abby watches carefull to make sure the plant doesn't get too much water. She then watches as the excess water drains out of the pot and into the saucer. Abby the lifts up the pot and checks to make sure all the excess water has been drained out. She then empties out the saucer and replaces it under the pot. Abby cleans up her area. She puts her pot on the desinated shelf. |
