"It is fixed," Jake said, his voice staying in the same kind of emotionless robot drone. "I pulled it until I felt it go in the right place," he explained, looking down at it.
Show her? But... I haven't even looked at it yet. Jake reached up and pulled his shirt collar down and across so the top of his shoulder could be seen through the neckhole. It was a tad swollen, purple, blue and read at the edges. At the front Jake could see it didn't look quite right, but he managed to block out the pain, so he looked up to Allie. "See?"
Allie nodded as he explained...there was no reason to get upset. She didn't want to scare him off. She would treat him just like a deer or something, no sudden moveme- WHAT DID HE DO TO HIS SHOULDER?? That was defiantly
worse than what she had done.
"Jake! Who helped you with that? It looks more like someone tried to pull your arm out! How come you just couldn't goto the hospital wing like I had asked you too? I was going to take you even!"
Well that ruined her plan...but she didn't really care. She was going to fix this, and she was going to fix this now.
"I should take you to the hospital wing right now! But...I think we have to make a little detour first. Come on."
She grabbed his hand, the one on the non-injured arm, of course, and dragged him to the hut. If she was going to finish what she started, then they would have to goto the hut first.
