Mariel merely nodded to the professor and went back to her table to get started. It was one of the messiest as Nathaniel was apparently aiming for her at one point, and Professor Bunbury shouldn't have to do all the work. It was bad enough that her pretty pink boots got all muddied-up, and Mariel was more than happy to practice her cleaning charms.
Looking at the mud-caked table-top which was slowly drying, the Ravenclaw decided that both scourgify and tergeo were necessary. A few quick flicks of her wand and a couple commands of
'scourgify' and
'tergeo' made quick work of cleaning the table. Watching as
scourgify brought up pretty pink soap bubbles and
tergeo swept them all away along with the dirt, she honestly didn't know how Muggles handled much cleaning without magic.
The floor around her table was near the same state and didn't take much longer to clean. She did the same at the tables closest to hers as well as the floor, thankfully many of the tables only needed a swift '
tergeo' and nothing more to erase a few traces of mud.
Glancing around, the Ravenclaw girl was satisfied with the state she left the greenhouse, and stowed her wand in her pocket also thankful that the DADA assignment was over for her and did not feel the need to have it glued to her hand. Swinging her bag over her shoulder, Mariel called out to the professor who was putting things away,
"Later, Professor," and sauntered out of class intent on finding Lasca as she had something to give her fellow Ravenclaw.
