Okay, first rule of spell casting, make sure you have the incantation down. He knew he needed to practice before even attempting, even though he had said the incantation already a few times, he wanted to be sure. And besides it was a fun incantation to say, out loud and inside his head. Standing up he looked for a chair that had glue on it and sat down, cringing at the weird nasty feel as it stuck to him. Great, now he definitely needed the spell right.
Picking up his wand he pointed it to the sticky lobby mess under him and said in a clear voice, "Advexis!". He tried to stand up and found part of his robes were still stuck to the sticky mess. Well, better than nothing he mused grateful for that much. Oh perhaps he had said 'Vexsis' instead of the 'W' sound he was supposed to say. Shrugging he pointed his wand at the gluey mess again and said clearly "Advexsis." This time as he stood up the chair fell away easily. "Yes!" he muttered, grinning at his second attempt.
Applying more glue to his chair he sat down again and cringed.
Nasty.
