"Oh dear," Ian said as he waddled over to the student.
"Can you at least reach your wand? The spell should still work if you're holding the wand since it is pointed toward the chair. Perhaps you could try that?" He scratched his chin.

Horrified Kayla, put her butt firmly back onto the chair...looks like new robes were in order now. Taking a deep breath she tried again making sure to say the incantation correctly, "Advexis" she waited a moment before making a move to stand up and it was with great relief she had done it. "WOOT" she yelled and did a little jig before realising that she could feel a cold draft on her behind and she looked back at her chair to see part of her robes left behind. Oops, she wondered if the reparo spell would work?
Ian's ears suddenly became savvy to a ripping sound.
"Uh oh! Prefect Winters, you may want to repair your uh...clothing as soon as possible. Reparo should do the trick." Quote:

Celandine Celandine stood up from her non-glued seat and went over to grab a bottle of the glue. She headed back to her seat and emptied half the bottle over the chair before sitting in it. She put her gloved hand up, "How long does it take to dry? It's squishy and..." Cela tried to move, "...oooh, never mind!"
Cela slowly transferred her weight to her feet and got a grip on the back of her chair with one hand, her wand in the other. Robes stuck fast to the chair, Celandine twisted so she could see better, "Advexis!" Cela pointed her wand and clearly spoke the incantation with the wuh instead of the vuh sound. She pulled the chair free with a flourish and immediately overbalanced and ended up on the floor. Chair too heavy to flourish with one hand.
Giggling she stood up and added more glue to the chair, sitting down and readying herself to try again.
"Professor?" Cela raised her hand, "Is there... spare... glue that I could.... use to practice with later? Does the glue stick to.... leather?"
Ian headed over toward the girl who had called for him.
"Oh my! Are you okay?" he asked, referring to her spill.
"Umm...yes, I suppose I could whip up some more glue for later practice. In fact..." he again addressed the class.
"Class, if you would like to take some glue to practice with after class, feel free to take a bottle or two! I must ask that you not terrorize the school, though. And in case you're thinking about it, I do have my eyes all over this place...."
He hustled back up to his desk and pointed at the glue bottles.
"Geminio!" Suddenly there was a WHOLE lot more glue.
