Haunted Lollipop ☛ Powerpuff Girl

Daphne shook out her wand arm and decided to try again. She saw most students were able to do this properly, and she was determined to water the bloody soil. She adjusted her stand, looked right at the pot, pointed her wand at the soil, and stated firmly, "Aguamenti!" Again, a few drops fell from the wand and nothing else.

She stood for a moment, both hands at her side. She shook her head, feeling very frustrated. She should be able to do this easily, she used to be able to do this easily... This time she felt angry, angry that the stupid spell wasn't working. She planted both feet firmly on the ground with successive stomps, jabbed her wand into the pot, inches above the soil. This time she had a plan, she would just try to spell over and over again until water came out in a steady stream.

"Aguamenti!" she said loudly, voice carrying across the classroom. But Daphne was too preoccupied to notice, her wand only produced a tiny stream of water before drying up. "Aguamenti! Aguamenti, aguamenti, aguamenti!" she spat over and over again. Then, as if all the water had been building up in her wand, it all spewed out into the pot. But the torrent was too much for the small pot and immediately splashed over the edges and into the air, getting Daphne and the students around her uncomfortably damp. After a few seconds, the stream slowed and stopped save a few drips, as if a faucet were being turned off.

"ARRG!" she yelled, shaking her dripping hand. She looked around and felt her face turn red. She was covered in mostly water, but a few specks of soil that escaped from the pot. Her normally impeccable hair was all messy, half wet and half dry. She wanted nothing more than to run away, or better yet turn invisible. She put her head in her hands as she saw the mess she made to the table, affecting not just her work by other students'.
