Haunted Lollipop ☛ Powerpuff Girl

Daphne meticulously rolled up her sleeves and slipped her hands into her light pink gloves. She playfully wiggled her fingers as she walked over to grab some soil. It seemed very strange not to use a trowel, that was after all the most convenient tool for this job. She dug her hands into the bag of soil and piled it into her matching pink pot.

Some of the soil managed to find its way out of her hand and all over her clean school robes, causing her to whisper several crude phrases, audible to those immediately surrounding her. She tried shaking the dirt off in what looked like a strange dance, but it remained stuck to her black robes. She reluctantly continued until the pot was 3/4 filled, as the Professor instructed.

Finished with that, Daphne quickly removed her gloves and went about dusting herself off. The last thing she needed was for the dirt to smudge into the fabric. After all, she did need to wear these for the remainder of the day, and no sense looking like a vagabond.

Robes presentable, Daphne grabbed her wand from her pocket. She wished the Professor would have set up watering cans, the aguamenti charm was rather difficult, and she still didn't feel up to performing something quite that complicated after her wrist injury. Though it was all healed, it still ached from time to time, and some of her mobility was limited. This made her spellwork more difficult than it would be for another student.

She took a deep breath, as she always did before attempting a spell she wasn't confident with, and pointed her wand, tip into the pot. "Aguamenti," she declared in a firm and authoritative voice. A few drops of water trickled out of her wand and seeped into the soil. She closed her eyes and sighed. This wasn't going to be so easy.
