Get some dirt and then try it dear, or you can always ask an older student for help."
She smiled warmly at the boy and then wandered past Plymouth toward the next student. William smiled, relief writted on his young face. "Thanks professor." He said as he got up and grabbed a pot, the gloves still on his hands and started. First the dirt, which he began adding slowly, his measurements exact. At 3/4 full he took a breath, and took out his wand.
He practiced the stiff flicking motion first before attempting the spell "Aquamenti!" He said in a confident voice as he stiffly flicked his wand. A think stream of water trickled out of his wand and he grinned. "Well it's something." he said to himself. He carefully waited until the small amount of dirt was moist, but not too moist before stopping. Placing his wand on the table beside his pot, he placed his hand into the moist mound and gently made a deep impression.
Now for the puffapod. From what he knew of them these ones were perfect for potting. the roots were just beginning to form which meant a bigger pot was needed. He walked over and found the perfect pod for him. Carefully he gripped it and gently tugged it out of it's place, shaking the excess dirt off.
When he had gotten it cleaned off and had all the roots he could see he walked over and stopped at his pot, frowning. Gently he placed the pod into its new home, humming softly as he did so and gently arranged the few roots around so they weren't cluttered.
He felt weird massaging it but he did so, the roots moving into their respective spots. Then he began filling the rest of the pot with dirt, being careful not to disturb it. The fertilizer was nasty stuff and he coughed a few times but it was soon full and he was happy with it.
Flicking his wand once more he said "Aquamenti." and another stream flowed into the pot, watering it until it was good to go. Putting his wand down he stopped, "How's this professor?" He asked, raising his hand. A smudge of dirt was on his cheek he didn't know about.
