Jack answered the question about which floor they were on helpfully, but Nancy glared at him. Huh? Why did Nancy not like Jack? Strange.. She frowned a little, Nancy had been nice before. A moment later, the girl disappeared again, she probably hadn't even noticed Meredith.
After she had heard some students ~~talk~~ yell about peeves, she went on with the conversation with Jack and said to him "I'll just look for the.. thingy later, then." She said thingy, so the other people wouldn't all know about it. A moment later, she realised she could have just thought it as well. "What are you going to do?" she asked.
