Chandan laughed as Laylee mentioned with a nervous look that she hoped it was okay she was here for Christmas.
"We get invaded all the time by relatives, it's really no bother - everyone's really looking forward to seeing you!" Chandan grinned.
He nodded knowingly as Laylee mentioned her father and work. "That's sorta the same as with some of my sisters. They're always off disappearing to places. Actually, scratch that - all my sisters do that!" Chandan made a long-suffering face. "Ah well." He smiled again.
"Shall we go in? Phoenix is waiting inside. She's usually an ecstatic person, but she said she was really looking forward to meeting you 'again'." Chandan raised an eyebrow. "That wasn't at that Ice Cream place, was it?"
