Meredith couldn't quite imagine that mind reading was normal to someone, but on the other hand, if you'd have been able to all your life, it would be pretty normal. She asked no further questions about it-at least for now. She only smiled a little and then wondered about the next thing.
What would the professor be helping him with? She didn't think it was related with schoolwork. She was very curious about it, but decided not to ask. If Jack had wanted to say what it was, he would probably have said something like 'he's helping me with my homework.' or 'he's helping me with some family issues.'. But Jack had not said anything about what it was, and she accepted that. Everyone had something they didn't want everyone to know.
