"Yeah, I'm fine..And you?" she answered. The question seemed kind of out of place, but it seemed like everything was-which brought her back to what she wanted to ask.
"What's going on with Professor Dumont? You said he wasn't himself.. how do you know?" Right, the most important questions were out now. She really hoped Professor Dumont was okay..or going to be better soon, anyway. It couldn't be too bad, Jack had smiled just a moment ago, but then again, people smiled sometimes when it wasn't okay too..trying to keep their hopes up, too be normal again?
