As the jinxes bounced away, her green eyes flashed as another Huffie firstie moved to hover over the first boy. "If you had noticed, we stopped casting spells," she pointed out. Except for the shield charms, and she was happy her housemate had managed to get one up as well. "We were just trying to make sure he wasn't too badly hurt." And with the comabtitiveness of this little Huffie girl, she wasn't going to let the shield drop for anything. He had to admit he was still in pain a bit from the last curse, his knees feeling like goo in his body. But he wasn't going to say anything, not in front of everyone. He'd suck it up like a man. A man who cried sure, but a man no less. His charm was holding up nicely as he looked down at the Huffe on the ground, gulping.
He finally noticed the other Huffie who had cast the other jinxes and frowned. Quote:

"I'm fine, seriously." he said again. Quote:

Jake was a tad disappointed. He'd hoped to surprise them again, but the sixth year's sheild charm would have been way too strong. One day... "You win?" he asked pushing himself away from the wall and blinking a few times so he wasn't seeing stars. "I'm really sorry." he said again, thinking he sounded like a broken record, but not caring. He nodded sagely, "Yes I guess I do." He said shakily, smiling. "Good job though, I mean that last one really hurt." he said encouragingly.
