Mari let out a frustrated sigh. " I wasn't though," she said emphatically. She really wanted to be angry at him but the way he looked standing there, with his hands in his pockets made her smile just a little tiny bit. " You know I do," she said quietly, crossing her arms in front of herself as he looked at her.
