The quill of Teal Andrus was flying across a certain debrief as his own office door came busting open. What in Merlin’s name?. So maybe he was expecting a knock, but the fact that the woman that was now before him didn’t knock wasn’t too unsettling, he wasn’t the person to get mad about that kind of stuff. Not mad at all.
Consequently enough, he looked from the woman’s face to the file on his desk. Even before she could say it, he had recognized her as his new Being Division Head, coming over from Cobblesten’s Department. She seemed cheery enough, very enthusiastic; these were all good signs. It was no doubt that Jack Lockharts’ reputation was going to be a hard one to look up to. But maybe she fit the part perfectly.
“No, not at all.” He said with a forced smile (it had been a long day). “Georgia Mayes, correct?” He asked a bit blandly. “It’s nice to have you. Please, have a seat.” Teal said, gesturing towards the chairs in front of his desk. “Can I get you any coffee, butterbeer? I think I might even have an old glass of firewhiskey in the back of the fridge if that’s what you like.” He said, turning his head in the fridges direction, “Just don’t tell Cooper.” He said with a guilty laugh, not that the man would care.
