Leave me? Who in the name of Merlin did this kid think he was, bossing a prefect around like that? Man, if only Jack were in his house right now--he would SO be in a world of pain. Although, with Kayla running the show over there
it obviously wasn't Dominic Jack would probably get his fair punishment sooner or later.
"Don't worry about him--I'd never judge you guys over that little brat," he said to Kayla, gesturing in the direction that Jack had just run off in.

Anna heard Barry ask her what she'd been up to lately, but right now, she was too focused on figuring out what this Hufflepuff had done to Cale and Reese. Anna turned her head long enough to greet Barry, and then she turned back to the Hufflepuff boy.
"Wait!" Anna called out. "What on Earth are you so upset about?" Anna wasn't even sure the boy had heard her question, though. He'd turned on his heels and walked away before all the words could even come out of her mouth. Anna turned back to Cale. "Cale? What just happened?" she asked.
"Well, Smart Mouth over there," he said with an eyeroll, pointing to where Jack disappeared to, "Asked me why I wasn't wearing one of those Defense Against the Dark Arts badges, and I said I didn't want anyone thinking this was just a 'take a cheap shot at a prefect' coupon, and I just don't trust other people sneaking up on me like that--anyways, then he called me a wimp and then Reese started getting angry," he explained, sighing as he finished. "Whatever. Stupid kid," he muttered, glaring at the last spot Jack had been standing.
