Question 1 (asked to Lord Voldemortist) how were you able to obtain access to the castle six times?
I attended school at Drumstrung, but I have always been fascinated with Albus Dumbledore and Hogwarts. I studied every book I could get my hands on about them. I memorized the floor plans of Hogwarts. I know that castle like the back of my hand. It only seemed natural when the DADA position became available I applied for it. I taught at Hogwarts for five years (2042-2047) using the name Anton Durskurk. I used my spare time to explore the castle and grounds. I know where all the secret rooms and secret passageways are. I also became friendly with my fellow staff members. I learned their strengths and weaknesses. That information proved useful in my early attempts to steal the Book of Mysteria. I used other sources of information to plan my other attempts to steal the book.
Question 2 (asked to Niamh Nostal, nurse at Hogwarts (2053-2056) what effect did the Draught of Ephemera have on the former ghosts?
Initially the former ghost showed no adverse effect from the draught. They were all exhausted of course, but, other than that, they looked the same as they had when they were ghosts. Then they started to change. You see, when the draught created their bodies, it created bodies that were the same age as when the professors died. A while after their spirits inhabited the new bodies, they started aging at a rabid rate. The aging process stopped once the new bodies at reached the age the professors should have been in 2054. This rapid aging process affected Professor Airlia, being the oldest former ghost, the worse. She had to stay in the hopital wing for several weeks. A fourth ghost. Sir Theodore Puppington did not survive the transformation. He attempted to perform the transformation on his own using Professor Rae as his host. Professor Rae had been critically wounded in a duel with Lord Voldemotrist. Sir Puppington was the first person to find her. He apparently hoped he could create a new body and then would be able to transport Professor Rae to the hospital Wing. Professor Rae had suffered a large blood lose and could not handle the transformation process. Sir Puppington realized this and went on to the next life. Professor Lainey and the Hufflepuff and Slytherin prefects found Professor Rae and got her to the hospital wing in time to save her life.
Question 3 (asked to Professor Kris Airlia, Potion Master, Howarts, 2051-1022) Since Professor Airlia died on 19 March 2055, Miss Wright asked Professor Kapoor to contact Professor Airlia via a séance.
The Draught of Ephermera is a very ancient form of magic. It in cooperates both potion and charms. A special potion is brewed. A witch or wizard drinks it. This witch or wizard will be the host for the ghost. The ghost will inhabit the host body and use it stem cells to create a new body for herself. The incantation is performed. It and a special branch draw the ghost’s spirit into the host’s body. The potion uses the host’s stem cell to help the spirit grow a new body. The spirit exists the body, and their new body materializes. The former ghost starts breathing on her own. The process is complete. |
