I want you to try flying forward at this height because the charm I just put on that broom will move slow. As a true Badger, I want you to try. Can you do that for me?"
Jack nodded shakily eyeing the mans wand "Ok" he took a deep breath "I'm going to do this" he told himself

You can do it! You can do it! You can do it! You can do it! You can do it! You can do it! You can do it! You can do it! You can do it!

He kept telling himself that as he clung to the broom and started to lean forward a little, it started to move Oh nooo Jack thought scaredly, Jack bent his knees so that his shoes were just skimming the grass I'm doing it! Whooooooo Jack smiled a little as he sat up straight and pulled his feet up more so he was hovering, he leant forward again Do itttt he told himself Nooooo he shouted in his head as he put his foot on the grass You stuuupid child! Failure, your brothers were right Jack swallowed and managed to stop hitting his head "Cut it out" he mumbled, talking to the voice in his head "I'm going to do it" Jack lifted both feet off the ground and leant forward again, it was working, he had managed to get both feet off the ground without falling, albeit only a short way from the ground, but still, he did it, he turned to the professor as he stood up again "Was that ok?" he asked worriedly before looking at the ground and faking a voilent sneeze so he could wipe away the tear in his eye.
