Lyra walked up and signed the sheet of paper that the professor spoke about. This had to be the coolest of all coolest things. She didn't know the professor had it in him to be so...creative. She was rather impressed.

Once she signed the sheet of paper, she wanted to practice a few more times before leaving the room. She walked back over to where she was seated, gathered her things and walked to the side of the room.

"Protego," she said with force as the shield rose around her. She knew she had to concentrate and mean every spell, whether it was a jinx or a hex. Now she knew what to do and she was ready to aim with her list in hand. She even wanted to try a few silent tricks on some of the students. They were fair target and she was ready.
