When Jake started explaining Meredith couldn't help but chuckle and think that he would be another good candidate for her bubble wrap remedy. She raised an eyebrow when he mentioned a duck. "I have a duck on my head? No I actually had no idea it was there actually. I shall have to remember to return him to the lake in a bit, he'll ruin my good hair day." Meredith said trying to maintain a serious composure at the goofy comment.
"Here take the headache reliever potion for the headache and I'll tend to the rest of your face." She put cream on his bruises and cleaned up the blood that was dried on his face before moving back and looking at him with a grin. "There much better." Merry didn't know quite what to say about the genie so she smiled and nodded. "I hope you get all your wishes."
Jake took the headache reliever and down it. Pretty soon things became less dizzy and, surprise surprise, his head didn't hurt anymore. This lady really was very nice, tending to his bruises like that all gentle, like.
"Thank you, Lady..." he whispered, gratefully.
"So... I can go now?" Jake asked, relieved to be able to go.
"And, yeah... I hope so too..." he added, confused.
