Special Abilities. Generally, Imps don't have any special abilities. However, they're excellently adapted to their territory and can be equipped with some spell power by the mage who created them. Also, they're always resistant to extreme temperatures and certain circumstances of their territory, but they can't survive long in any other environment. For Example: Fire Imps are fire resistant and can endure being burnt, however, they almost die when they're exposed to water.
Territory. Imps are bound to the territory of their master. As long as they're there, Imps can draw strength from their creator, but if they're forced to leave it, they can only survive by staying close to their master and feed from his mana. As a result of this, Imps can never be used as attackers, only for defending purposes.
Habitat/Behaviour. Imps are smart, helpful and mean creatures. They are smart as a quality of their being, they are helpful concerning their master and mean against all other creatures/people who are not their master. Put together these three properties can be fatal for objects or even persons within their reach if Imps are left alone. It has been reported that Imps love to hunt down people and to torture them, but they are real cowards when they think they're going to lose. An Imp will always calculate his chances and will always choose the most profitable way. Because of this treacherous nature, it lies in the responsibilty of the mage to keep a firm grip on them. Imps are not affected by any "nice" approach. If you e.g. try to get past an Imp by offering him something, he'll grant you access and may backstab you when you've passed.
This is why they're always badly treated: a badly treated Imp will always make the calculation: "If I fight against enemies, they'll hurt me. But if I don't, master will hurt me more." This calculation does however only work if the master is near, because when he isn't, an Imp thinks his enemies more dangerous and stops fighting. When there are no other creatures around at all, Imps love to tease other Imps or to create any other form of chaos.
Diet. Imps can be fed by mana only, but they prefer real, fresh meat. They have an appetite for little birds and small animals and they seem to think that everything helpless and scared tastes even better (strange, but true). Some forest Imps can also be seen eating fruits and vegetables, but they usually distaste them and won't eat them when it isn't necessary. If an Imp hasn't caught anything, it will just steal it from somebody else or start throwing another Imps food around
Ruby then continued and said "i have also found out that Imps are a XX ministry classification" Iliana took the book that Ruby was handing her and started to read. "Ruby, this is wonderful research that you've done. Are you finding it helpful to you at all in taking care of Emelda?" She asked. Quote:

Jake moaned, the tears rolling down his face as he sat. Everything was sort of in a haze of confusion, and the next minute, someone had hold of his arm. At the first shock of the touch, Jake yelped, but he was then being treated with surprising gentleness. "Wha-whaaaat?" he whispered, surprised.
Ohhhh, so she was going to PRETEND she was nice before she set her Snidget minions on them.
Jake directed his words to the Professor. "It wuh-wuh-wuhsn't m-meeee..." he cried. "I didididididn't do anyfink... He's... friend..." Jake choked out before looking over at Cameron. "This is... your... fault..." he gasped before looking to Allie and uttering the H word he never thought he'd hear himself say to a person. "I huh-huh-hate, you..."
First the rib-jabbing, then the man-handling, then the damage to his limbs, and finally the lying.
Pfft... was there anyone that wasn't trying to hurt Jake in some way? "OUCH!" Jake cried out, as the Morganator raised his arm.
Not even safe in the company of staff. Iliana listened as Jake started to cry and a tissue from inside her robe. "Jake, honey its going to be okay." She said as she gently wiped away his tears and tried to calm him down. "Please don't cry."
She flinched when she heard his angry, hurtful words and gave him a sad frown. "Jakers that's a horrible thing to say! This girl cares about you. You tell her you're sorry for ever letting those words leave your mouth." She said. When he cried out in pain at her touch she quickly, though very gently dropped his hand. "Oh honey, if you're in this much pain, I have to send you to Hospital Wing." She said, turning her attention to Allie. Quote:

And then something was said about it being spread around the school. So I tried to stop them. But they didn't seem to be listening so I decided to take them here. It kin of got out of control...." she explained, slower this time.
And now why was Jake trying to blame this on Cam? "No it was not Cam's fault Jake, or yours, if anything it was all mine. I take full responsibility for all of this." she said. She had made them a promise that if there was any sign of them getting in trouble she would take the blame. So she was going to stick with it.
Allie glared at Jake. Why did he have to say he hated her? How could he even go there. She had good intentions. But instead of responding, with some of the carefully selected words she would like to say to him at the moment, she just turned her head away form Jake, and looked back toward Professor Morgan. Under normal circumstances Iliana might have broken a smile at the thought of one of her students being 'in love' with her. But this was not normal circumstances and Jake's poor broken body had taken over her thoughts. "Take him right away dear. We can finish this discussion at another time." She said. "And please reassure him that he is NOT in any trouble. It might help him calm down." Quote:

So he glared at her for a few seconds before looking back at Professor Morgan. Only one thing came upon his thoughts right now; the consequences. Right now he guessed that they would be tortured by magical creatures for the rest of their lives, or making them clean her hut everyday! Like one of those... house-elves or so they call it. But his eyes were twirling and twirling, and a smile went on his face when he stared at the cookies.
It was like nothing happened, he gladly took 5 cookies and stuffed 2 in his mouth at once. Delicious. "So how's Vincent, Professah Morgan?"
He forgot about what the REAL situation was. Cookies could hypnotize anyone, even him! "Vincent is fine, Cameron. Thank you for asking." She said, almost laughing at the sight of his mouth filled with cookies. "You're welcomed to stay here with me and look in on Vincent if you'd like. He's sleeping now but I'm sure that he won't mind being woken up to play with you." She said. "We can discuss rumors." She said with a smirk. Quote:

She smiled a little bit, "Of course, once you name an animal it usually winds up being a pet or family member. It's hard not to become attached to them, any of them really." Freya nodded slightly, "I think I am doing a grand job. I've worked with animals all my life, so taking care of a baby knarl was like being back home...sort of. Although I wasn't very used to the spines at first...they were interesting to work around." Freya glanced over to the animal in the room, then stared at the woman for a moment, "My parents? Oh, my father will be fine with it, I have enough animals as it is, so he'd likely not mind at all...he may not even notice. And he knows I'm responsible." 'That and I may be moving out after graduation anyway...' "Well that was pretty much the exact reaction that I was hoping for." She said. "I am so pleased that you're enjoying your time with Noor. You be sure to mention it to your Father and let me know what he says." Quote:

She held up her index finger and thumb indicating a small inching distance as she said 'small issue'. The thing was, that it was more than just a small issue, to her it was HUGE! She would have been highly upset and needed to get Agie out of sight. Ili looked around her crowded office and shrugged, giving an almost apologetic look. "Sorry to say my dear but it looks like privacy is a luxury I can rarely afford. Tell me what's the problem and I'll do all I can to help." She said. Quote:

She saw Agie lurking just outside the door and raised up on her tiptoes to try to catch her attention. "Agie is everything okay?" She asked, slightly concerned by her behavior. If memory served, this was the most outgoing and active student she had in her last class. Why would she go all shy on her now. Hmm? "Come on in and tell me what's wrong. Is something wrong with your Clabbert?" Quote:
