Besides, this mirror is an historical relic and here all of you are simply drooling over it. Don't any of you know how to read these days?" His eyes were back on the mirror and his reflection. Something wasn't right about it.
"Erm, wha---oh, your hair, sir?" Anna asked, glancing over at the mirror and then back to the professor. She studied his hair for a moment---the same head of hair he'd just claimed needed a good trimming. "But sir, your hair
is short. It doesn't look too long to me at all." Anna turned away from the professor when he started addressing Paris Greenwood, who'd apparently offended him with her prior comment about honey. Anna stepped a little closer to the mirror, wondering briefly if Professor Vindictus had seen a normal reflection of himself or an altered, magical reflection. Anna kept her eyes on the floor until she'd reached the front of the mirror. She then glanced up and stared into the mirror, watching Cale and those babies appear once again. She turned back to Professor Vindictus with a confused look on her face. "I wonder why it's here
now...why it suddenly appeared from nowhere," she mumbled, addressing no one in particular.
