Elizabeth had been waiting for a bit to hear from Mari about what time period they should focus on, and getting a little bored. And when Professor Truebridge announced they only had another ten minutes or so to work, she momentarily panicked.

Making a split-second decision, she scribbled down a few questions related to the time period she had mentioned in class. Basically, from a few years before Harry Potter had gone to Hogwarts, til he turned seventeen.

Quote:
Years: 1987-1997
Focus: Harry Potter, getting to Hogwarts and his Hogwarts years, Defeat of Voldemort

Questions:

To the Dursleys: Did you expect Harry to develop his abilities, even though you tried to prevent it?

To Rubeus Hagrid: You were the one sent to bring Harry to Hogwarts. Had you had any idea of how important and powerful he was going to become, even though you had knowledge of his past?

To Harry himself: Would you have done everything the same way if you had known you were going to have to sacrifice yourself to save everyone else from the beginning (Even though Voldemort's spell ended up only destroying the Horcrux he had unknowingly put into you)?
Then she sat back, to see what Mari would think of her work, and feeling at least a little better that she'd have something to show when the discussion was over. And she glanced at the gramophone again, curious about the fact that apparently the professor had turned the volume up again, and listening to the song that was playing. After a few seconds of listening in silence, she found herself almost unconsciously singing along, softly, but in a clear voice. "Midnight, not a sound from the pavement. Has the moon lost her memory? She is smiling alone . . ."
