She smiled again as he talked about Nicholai and his scars. "I didn't exactly pay that close of attention," she admitted. "The whole thing honestly kind of had surprised me. I hadn't expected a question about what had happened to involve a show." She grinned again. "And now I think you're showing off." And her smile took on a slightly more mischievous look at the flattery. "Oh, I'm definitely smarter," she said, before her expression turned curious as he looked past her. But he helpfully explained, and she smiled again. "Sure. I mean, I'd hope you'd do the same if I wanted to talk to a friend of mine." She nodded as he said they'd talk again soon, and then kind of froze in surprise as he kissed her cheek. She hadn't really expected that.

Maddox smiled and replied, "Speak to you soon Elizabeth." He waved, and walked towards Penny. Elizabeth was a really great girl. But was she fiesty enough to be one of his girl's. He would definatly get slapped by her, but she could still be a friend nontheless.

Maddox grinned and quietly sat down next to Penny. "What cha reading love?" He kissed her cheek, then leaned back and placed his arm around her shoulder. "Where have you been? I've missed you like crazy." He smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
