At least she was quiet though and respected the fact that he wanted silence now more than ever; that was what he enjoyed more than ever about Willow Kovac. Her understanding in a twisted way about him.
Turning briefly, he smiled weakly in delight when she mentioned she would wait here with him. Nodding briefly as she took the seat next to him, his golden eyes averted away as he glanced at the others in the waiting area. Why did Jack seem to want to hide from his presence? He hadn't done anything lately to the boy, had he? Odd.
But finally the nurse came from wherever she was - with others no doubt - and told those who weren't sick or whatever to leave! Oh no; that meant, Willow too? AH well, it was probably for the best. Looking over towards the Ravenclaw, he gave another smile of appreciation, before speaking to her. "Uh ... So I guess you have to go then. I'll .... see you around?" Dom asked awkwardly, before turning back to the nurse and trying to focus on where he was supposed to go.
Wait, nausea? Nope. Headaches? Nope. Bruises or bleeding? Nope. Well some combination of both to congregate in the middle of the room, which was exactly where the fifth year decided was best for him to go. With that, Dominic headed over towards the center of the room and waited for the nurse to attend to him. Not that she cared about what Dominic thought of her, or anything --or did she? What a mess, her head was-- but there was a huge change that if she stood up and went to take seat in another chair so she would not have be in such a close proximity to him, Dominic might think that she was strange, yes?
And then she caught herself.
Willow was not going to move, but she was definitely sure that she did not care what Dominic Denton thought. Hmph. Ridiculous thoughts going through her head. . . hanging out with so many adolescents lately was beginning to rub off on her a little. However, as much as her erratic thoughts were starting to annoy her a bit, the fifth year could not help it, but to peek at his expression from under her long, dark lashes--which was a huge mistake, for not even the smile he offered her stopped Willow from seeing what she did.
Her forest green eyes had just noticed the same thing they had some time ago, back in the Prefect's Bathroom.
With some effort, the dark-haired girl forced herself to blink a couple of times. Oh, this was not good. Not good at all.
And she needed to leave the Hospital Wing now. Nevermind about staying there while the Nurse treated Denton--he would perfectly fine without her company. Willow, on the other hand, would not fine if she stayed there. Not to mention that the girl was eighty-five percent certain that once the shock had left his body, Denton would begin to hate her for what she'd done.
Just when the girl had made up her mind about leaving, the nurse said that all the people that was not injured should leave. Well, at least she had a good reason now. Or rather, she had a reason that Dominic would understand, because her real reason was a very good one.
"Yeah." Yeah? Since when did she say YEAH? Taking one deep breath, the girl continued, "Yes, I will see you around, Dominic," murmured the girl, as she grabbed her messenger bag and stood up. Without meeting his gaze, the girl exited the Waiting Room.
