Elizabeth simply nodded as Lima talked about Nicholai teaching her dueling because of a breakup with her boyfriend. Who she was fairly certain she knew, but wasn't about to enter into that awkward situation. "I don't exactly know why Nicholai left either," she said, feeling that this wouldn't lead to any questions. "I saw him in Diagon Alley before this term started, but we really didn't get to talk." Because of people attacking other people, and others watching with popcorn, and it had really been an interesting incident. But she grinned as Lima talked about the biography idea. "Sure, if you can find me then," she said, almost teasing. She knew Lima was joking, so she was going to go with it.
As she heard about what the Huffie could play, however, her eyes widened. "That's impressive. I mean, I can't play anything. Not musically." She could sing, sort of. And she played Quidditch. But musical instruments had never been something she had tried. But she laughed at the warning about seventh year. "I already went crazy last term because of the workload. That's why I kinda gave up being a prefect. At least get rid of one responsibility on my plate. But I think I can handle next term."
Lima sighed. So Liz had no idea either. For a second she wondered if Maddox would know, but that thought passed in an instant. She didn't care if he knew or not, and she would never ask him.
'Oh, I never saw him there, but I do remember a bunch of girls fighting over him in the ice cream shoppe." She started to laugh. It was really funny even after a few months. Only Nico would have masses of girls after him. Poor Kayla had to deal with a lot of competition. Snort. She then smiled as Liz seemed to want to play along with her.
"I dunno, you may have to go and find me. What with all the traveling I'll be doing. I'll be on tour constantly. And of course there will be all the other writers fighting to be the one to write about me." She gave another wink and snorted.
She blushed a bit and said,
"It's nothing big, really. I just can play things by ear." She shrugged.
"Well, I'm glad that you are sure that you can cope fairly well with it. Though I can't imagine being a Prefect." She shuddered. She just didn't find being a Prefect appealing. Though she never would have said that to Vannah when she was one, of course.
