Freya took the vial and downed the contents in one gulp. It wasn't completely horrible, aside from the first sensation which was a taste of tar but an aftertaste that consisted faintly of molasses overpowered it.
"Thank you." Freya said as she handed the empty vial to the nurse. She nodded at the mention of eyedrops. It was bad enough that her eyes were sensitive to light from being so pale, but when they were this irritated, Freya would be better off walking around with a blindfold.
"I can take it, I'm tough enough." She waited a bit more for the eyedrops...they couldn't be too bad, and nothing could be worse than what had already happened to Freya's eyes.
