"Ya helped design a broom? That's so cool..." Jake said, wide-eyed. Having a broom was one thing, but DESIGNING one... Wow.

She immediately narrowed her eyes at him. It seemed to her that he was trying to cover something up as being less than it really was. And she would not have that. At all. Especially from a First Year that should be making a good impression.

"What happened in Hogsmeade?" she asked, some annoyance showing in her tone. She would see just how bad it was before she reacted.
