The New York Times is
reporting today that they have received word from Warner Bros. that a clip from
Half-Blood Prince will be aired during the February 22nd telecast of the Academy awards.
The clip(s) will be part of the Oscars' end-of-show, upcoming-movie montage, shown alongside other upcoming features such as
Sherlock Holmes and
Terminator Salvation (which co-stars Helena Bonham-Carter [Bellatrix]).
However, this has not been confirmed by Warner Bros. (we have already contacted them and await word about the segment), so for now, please treat this as a rumour. Also, there is no word on whether or not this is a new clip or one previously shown in trailers or previews.
The Academy awards will air on ABC Sunday, February 22nd at 8:00 p.m. EST.
