But enough about that, she would write to Astrid later, right now she had to teach these two firsties a lesson. And they wouldn't listen to her so she had to take them Professor Morgan. They practically forced her too. And its not like they would get detention or lose points or anything horrible like that she hoped but probably just a lecture. "Here we are!" she said, knocking on the door with her foot. She didn't want to risk letting go of either of them in case they ran away. "Yes? Come in." She called out, hearing someone at the door. He smiled, wondering if she would or not, though he doubted it.
He thought for a moment and replied, "Well I just went up to the Owelry for the first time today. I needed to send a letter to me mum. So I would say today." He shrugged. He felt bad that he hadn’t come and check on her before though. He needed to do that more often. "Very well, Maddox." She said absentmindedly, giving all of her attention to the owl. She reached in slowly and held her hand very still, allowing Asmara to climb onto her fingers. Then she pulled her out through the cage door and began her examination. She gently felt along her wing and raised an eyebrow as she was sure she had just found the cause of her pain. Carefully, she lifted her wing and pulled out a thin twig that had somehow lodged it way underneath. She held it up for Maddox to see and smiled at him. "She should feel better now." She said, handing the owl a treat. "Though, you might let her rest for a couple of days before you send her out again. Just use one of the school owls. And if you don’t mind, bring her back to me at the end of the week so that I can make sure that she’s all better." She said, returning Asmara to her cage at last. Quote:

"Time management skills and a keen eye for details," thought the blond considering how Celandine seemed to get the soap water ratio just right in the first try. "Celandine learned a lot too!" chirped Daphne, tucking a dirty hand underneath Cel's elbow and pulling her closer towards herself. "You’ve done a wonderful job! 5 points for your hard work. And because this was your idea, how’s 5 more sound?" She asked. Quote:

"Yes. Daphne had a great idea." Cela agreed, nodding enthusiastically, "Conditioning a saddle is a bit humbling too." Cela decided, "And good for your muscles and sometimes hard work is the best way to work out your frustrations."
Which... explained alot about why Daphne was always so stressed. Lack of hard physical labour.
Celandine eyed her friend as she pulled her close, "Oh Daphne! Your hands are all dirty because you worked so hard! Here let me get that for you!" Cela scourgified each of Daphne's hands and threw in a few more cleaning spells for good measure before taking care of her own, not quite so dirty hands.
"What I would like to do is figure out how altitude effects the saddles and what can be used to make them last better when you take air pressure into account." Cela added in a thoughtful tone. "Well feel free to come by anytime. I’d love to hear about any experiments that you’d care to try in the future. You know where to find me if you need me." She said with a smile, very impressed with the young Ravenclaw's inquisitiveness. "It’s Celandine, right? ... Don't think I forgot about you. 5 points for all of your hard work as well." Quote:

She only had a small question, hopefully the answer would go in her favor. Once more, Professor Morgan called out, "Come in, the door's open."
