He stretched out one of Tiberius's wings very gently, studying the structure and the way it joined the foal's body. Just how exactly was this fragile thing going to get a HORSE off the ground? It was... very hard to believe. "So how soon until they are old enough to ride or to fly? These wings seem so small right now." He let go of the wing and Tiberius tackled him in an effort to get at the bottle.
"They grow quickly." Celandine answered, "Have you seen a full grown Abraxan? It's almost scary how big they get and its definitely awe-inspiring." Cela stroked Cassiopeia's wings gently and pulled the bottle away as the sucking noise indicated it was empty, "Oh you drank it all! What a good little Abraxan!" Cela stroked Cassiopeia's nose and smiled happily as the abraxan foal nickered at her.
"We will have to start taking them outside next time so they can stretch their wings and strengthen them." Celandine giggled at the colliding foal and boy, "I'm not sure precisely how long it will be." she admitted.
Cela stood up and took the bottle back to where she got it from, cleaning it before replacing it on the shelf. "I don't want to go! They are so lovely!" Cela sighed and bent down to stroke Cassiopeia's nose, laughing as the foal got its head stuck in her skirt and robes in its eagerness for a caress. It was amazing how quickly they developed trust once you fed them.
