Getti was speaking about the fired folk, and Hoshino could only grin as he fetched out his designer glasses from their Dolce & Gabbana case. Shutting the case with a louder clank than he would have liked, he put the case away quickly before Forde could remark upon it.

Just, put them on Hoshino, he instructed himself as he performed the action. Think of them as your defense shield. None of her words can get through you if you wear them.
