And I seriously hope that the task you are performing under my careful watch will get the message through that thick skull of yours." He flicked his wand again and an empty barrel appeared next to the closed one. Another flick of his wand and a Muggle gas mask appeared. This, Vindictus put on and then pulled out his dragon hide gloves. He had another pair, but this one had very long sleeves, and he threw them at the Hufflepuff boy along with a large dragon hide apron and clear goggles.
Then he pried open the sealed barrel. The dungeon cell was immediately flooded with the smell of fresh dragon dung. "Arrived from Romania this morning," he told Jack. "You need to separate all rocks, seeds, and hard objects from this barrel for Professor Bunbury. Put these materials into the empty barrel."
Jack gasped quietly
'Expulsion? For hitting some idiotic kid?' Jack put the gloves on and the goggles, then, finally, the apron, as soon as the barrel was open Jack recoiled a little "Okaay" he said trying not to look at the professor, Jack decided to get stuck in, his hands moved to fast for his brain, they were already in the barrel, Jack sifted through a handful of the dung, thankful that this 'cold' made the smell a little more bearable, placing all the rocks and seeds in the empty barrel, he started to search for hard things, how lovely, plant junk, just like the lesson Herbology, this was a waste of time.
Jack absent mindedly picked through the dung "Professor" Jack acknowledged him before grabbing another handful of the dung, surprisingly, the less he thought about the smell, the more bearable it was, Jack decided to pretend he was doing it for Sak, his hands started to move faster as he thought how quickly she'd want it done, he picked out as much of the seeds as he could, moving onto the hard stuff again he sighed a little.
