I read Twilight, because I don't like judging a book I have not read. I went there completely open minded for people whom I trusted recommended it.
It wasn't to my taste. Meyer's narrative style leaves a lot to be desired and the characters while momentarily entertaining in the end show none (if very little) character development to keep me interested.
JK Rowling wrote books that I love. Not that I'm still willing to forgive her for that last book. (Merlin, you can say whatever you want but DH was simply horrible fanfiction in a hardcover) At least Jo provided me with incredibly believable characters (most of the time) through several years and seven books.
And Stephen King...is Stephen King. I love him and his work. He's always been rather eccentric as most writers tend to be especially writers of his genre. He simply just said what he felt and I respect that.
Now, that I got all the serious stuff out:
Dude. EL. OH. EL. HAHA.
