Paris pulled back and looked at Jake. "Uh, honey I look way better than your grandmother." she commented. She never, ever wanted to be compared to a old person like that again. Even when she got old. "I'm not a big cat person anyways." She shrugged.

She turned and stared at Lyra when she started screeching. What was with this girls and the octave at which they yelled and squealed. It was going to make her ears bleed or something. She turned to look at the kid she was yelling at. It was John from Diagon Alley. What was her deal with him anyways.

"Um why are you yelling?" She asked Lyra. She pulled Jack to her as he seemed to get scared from Lyra's yelling. "I won't let her hurt you," She reassured him as she out her arms around him and held him close to her body.

Then another person just had to walk into the room. And it was that snotty little claw from the bathroom. Yep, this day was just getting better and better.
