She grew quiet as Kayla snapped at Lyra about the mirror. Her heart went out to Kayla to have to live without her parents. She hated to see her friends in pain.

She kissed Jake on the cheek. He reminded her of her little brothers and she missed them more than she would admit. "Well I haven't seen you for a few days. I worry about you," She said wiping her lip gloss of his cheek with her thumb. "Yeah well curiosity killed the cat so be careful where you poke your nose from now on." She chided as she released him so he could breathe

Jake smiled. Worry about me? "Eww... what's sticky stu- oh... lip gloss," Jake grinned, poking his tongue out. "Thanks..." Why he was saying thank you, Jake wasn't sure, but someone worried about him, and it wasn't an obligation to that certain someone.

"I feeeeeel for that poor cat," Jake replied. "Poor deceased thing... I would say basic human reaction, curiosity, but maybe it's not..." unless said cat wasn't a cat... Focus! Jake shrugged when Paris let him go. "Nothing else to do, why would I miss out on the party in here?"

Right, I am not looking. Determined face... GO!
