She jumped into action when she heard the spell.Springing back she countered it with "Protego!",and a shield formed in front of her just in time.
"Wooohooo I was quick enough that time!" she shouted jumping around on the podium area. "What does that one do again?....something that would have made me look stupid I'm sure," she smiled.This was fun..and she hadn't killed or maimed anyone yet.
Putting her hands together,Sarah cracked her knuckles before quickly flicking her wrist and shouting "Rictusempra!!"

Mariel's smirk disappeared as Sarah easily blocked her spell. And how did the girl perform such a decent shield charm? That was pretty advanced magic... but it didn't quite deflect the spell back to her anyway. Mariel didn't question it further though as she was fairly good at them herself having some extra practice.
"Not bad," she told the Hufflepuff with a respectable nod of her head.
"Um, that one would've made your legs dance uncontrollably. Yeah, that would've been pretty funny to watch," she agreed with a chuckle.
Apparently there was no time for chatting as Sarah quickly sent another spell her way.
"Protego!" Mariel shouted as she watched her own shield form and deflected Sarah's spell back to her. Then she quickly sent a jelly-legs jinx towards her as she waved her wand.
