"Here we are." she said, bringing it over to her chair and placing it on her lap. "I studied Lord Withers during my first few years here at Hogwarts. I didn't learn a lot because there weren't great records kept on the man, but you're welcomed to what information I have." She said, turning the book around so that he could get a better look. "Read this and see if it helps." she said, pointing out the paragraph. Quote:
Lord Stoddard Williams (1642–1769) was a magizoologist who bred winged horses. He created a sport that combined elements of polo and Quidditch. It was played on winged horses instead of brooms. The sport never became popular.
"It seems like the only other piece of information for you in here is that he created a new sport. Unfortunately, that's all I have for you as well." she said. "I do hope it helps a little." William watched with wonder on his young face as he looked at the somewhat thick book. "Wow, my cousin would love a book like that." He mused as he listened to the next bit of information. "A game inventor eh? That is definitely interesting." He looked at the small bit of information, memorizing it easily. "Polo, that's a Muggle thing right?" he added frowning before shaking his head, "Thank you very much professor." He replied, remembering his kindness.
Now that he didn't feel as if he'd completely fail History he relaxed a bit."I'm sorry for cutting my visit short professor, but I must be starting on my homework now. I look forward to your first lesson. " He said bowing slightly, his blue eyes tinkling brightly. Now that he knew where to begin, the rest would be easy.
