When he was down, Jake shuffled over to his own workstation to check the vials were still there, and to hide some in his robes. He wasn't sure if he should empty his cauldron and clean it or not, so he left it.

Realising he should probably keep an eye out to protect his things, Jake remained standing, glad he was so short and didn't have far to duck, just in case.

Coward.

Melanie's hazel eyes glared back at him, letting out a very unladylike growl. She didn't really feeling the need to retaliate... at least he was being truthful. Truthful on what he thought of course. Not on calling Cadence weird. That was what made her furious to begin with. Wow, I really have to control that temper. Melanie thought, shaking her head. Before I do hit someone. She turned back around, ignoring him and trying to get the Headmaster's attention. Although she had to admit Cadence sounding like an opera singer and mimicking a bullfrog was pretty dang hilarious... she wasn't about to stand there and do nothing.
