Kayla listened as Professor Dumont spoke and again Jack's version of events and the stories did indeed coincide with each other. She was leaning more towards the Professor's version and the fact that Sakura had nothing to add especially after her little spiel earlier on, only made her more confident in the Professor. "Indeed, I think that would be a very good idea," Antonio said, hoping to have a word with Kayla in private as well but knowing that now was not the right time for such a meeting. "Let me see, I should be free immediately after I finish teaching my first lesson, how does that sound to you? I'm getting ready to present it tomorrow, in fact, I was just finalizing the details a bit earlier." Antonio would do his best to ensure that his office was finally empty after the lesson was over, although that was certainly no easy task.

Well first things first, I would like to thank you for the offer of money to return and I would like to accept, but how much money it would take me to get home, I have no idea. I have told the head about my family situation and even though she is sad that I will be leaving and so are the children, Apparently I'm not a bad teacher.
Like I was saying at the end of this year I will hopefully be back at home, I have decided to see the year out here, I hope you don't mind, it gives me the chance to find out how much I will need, I hoped that we can come to some arrangement it seems like I miss you and everyone so much, that even though I love my job, I know that family comes first and it seems like Jack and John needs me more than anything else.

Antonio looked up at Jack and John. "I have something I would like to share with the two of you," he said. "It is indeed a letter from your brother Jose, and I think I would call it more good news than bad news." He held the letter out for the two boys to read. "Or, I can read it to you, if you'd rather. It doesn't help any with the search, but it is comforting news."
