"I am s-supposed to be attending an i-i-imPortant business c-conference!" he squeaked in consternation. "S-sales for m-mu-my c-c-c-c-c-c-cuh- b-b-b-bu-... job... are depending on m-my attendance!" Alicia laughed, and looked up to Mr. Poindexter, "Did you try swimming the English Channel? Or taking a muggle plane?" Poindexter glared his best Harry Potter Auror glare of Doom at her for even suggesting such a thing. He rather looked like a pug dog with round glasses on. Quote:

That one new woman, the one taking notes, certainly seemed eager to get on the case. "Actually, miss," Rico spoke up, "I think this case could use a more personal touch than just a phone call. And there's really no need to involve the Muggle Minister, since it seems that France is just blocking wizardry from England." Yeah, they would definitely need to be sending a team to France to solve this problem. Dang.
He turned toward the new guy who had just entered and was mentioning something about magical diplomacy, which just so happened to be under Enrico's division. "Er, hello there," he greeted man who had introduced himself as a diplomat. "If you'd like to help, why don't you take a seat and participate in the meeting?" Rico gestured around the conference room with his tan hand, pointing out the obvious. "We're all trying to figure out a solution to Mr. Poindexter's and Mr. Parias' problems, see..." he smiled at the younger guy, hoping he would get the message to sit down and listen to the two men's stories. They had to diagnose the problem before they could fix it, of course.
And while that other woman had a good sense of humor, Rico had the feeling that Mr. Poindexter would not be appreciative of her suggestion about Muggle transportation. He had to cover his mouth with his hand though, since what she did suggest was pretty funny. "B-bb-buh-buh-blocking t-travel to P-P-P-P-Puh-Paris?!" he exclaimed, spraying Rico with spittle in his agitation. "But I've g-got to get there!" Quote:

Yet, news from Mr. Pointdexter that he could not even travel through the floo network nor apparition made Diana's attention turn when he had mentioned it. Alicia was trying to make the situation for the confused man a little less complicated and the others seemed to really be thinking what could be done about the situation.
She wanted to speak. Yet, had no words to do it. "The French Ministry of Magic has blocked our transportation, shipping goods...If there will be a meeting to resolve the situation, we must have that proyect or reasons in hand to communicate them that all this blocking makes the interdepence we have with them is fading away and the partnership makes both lose" It was a slight chance, yes. But what other things can they try.
Diana hoped not to be wrong. It was her first work meeting and she was trembling while she spoke, yet never lost composture. "You've g-got to f-f-fuh-f- resolve this!" Poindexter said, furious. "I M-MU-MUST be in P-p-Paris by tomorrow!"
