Meredith grinned and shook his hand even though he hadn't offered it to her. "Nice to meet you Edward." She ran a hand through her hair and wondered how to ask the question.
"Well my parents have this longstanding tradition of watching the eclipses together. Like, they've never missed one. I usually keep up with when they appear so I can tell them. But since you're the Astronomy professor, I figured you'd be able to give me an answer." She took a breath and resettled herself in the chair.
