"Well, I just so happen to be helping out with..." Lyra's eyes shifted from side to side for a moment making sure there was no one in the hallway to hear her or even close to her, "...the Quill and I thought it would be good to meet all the Professors and what better way to begin than now."
Anna nodded and held up the letter, confirming that she did indeed receive it. She narrowed her eyes when Lyra suddenly displayed a sly smile. Oh, yeah. She was
definitely up to no good. Part of Anna wanted to stop Lyra from doing whatever it was she was planning on doing. Anna was a prefect, for Merlin's sake. Prefects just didn't walk around creating mischief in the school. The other part of Anna wanted to dive right into the mischief head first, though. She didn't want to seem
too uptight with her prefect duties. Besides, Lyra was a close friend. Anna sighed, folded the letter, and stuffed it into her pocket.
Her eyes lit up when Lyra mentioned that she was one of the new journalists for The Quill. "No way! Me, too!" Anna half-whispered. Oh, this was going to be good.
Realllly good. "Oh, and Cale, too! Oh, Lyra! I'm so excited now! I'm assuming you're ready to meet the new Charms professor?"
