"Yes. I wouldn't be able to take it if my brother broke my wand..." Emalyn widened her eyes at Kaika. "He would get it if he did." Emalyn made a fist and pursed her lips evily.
"Oh yeah. No homesickness. I mean, it's inevitable that I'll miss them sometime...but not yet." Emalyn winked back.
Oh. He was very close-by, so...
"Yes, Dominic is actually a very nice guy" she said, eyeing him. Which may probably indicate his location to Emalyn. Though, the girl was right. He could be slightly annoying from time to time. Could be. She'd never had the pleasure to argue with Dominic...as others have.
And she didn't think she'll like that, either.
She chuckled,
"Well, Trey was lucky enough to have my grandpa around...otherwise, I would be an only child by now" she raised an eyebrow,
"No, just kidding...about the later part" she
was going to kill him, but it was during summer time, so Diagon Alley was just a few seconds away, there was no need to panic back then. The one she truly panicked was when her cousin broke her Nimbus, but it didn't last long, for her uncle took care of that.
It
is inevitable. Kaika even found himself missing her brother a few times in the past. Only a few times.
"Well, they're still one owl away...so, it will be alright" she shrugged, and eyed the Staff table,
"I'm actually more concerned about the new Professors, though" she said, in a low voice. The new Professors and Quidditch. Those were her concerns.
