Not this time anyway.
Shrugging, he gulped as to whether tell her or not. "Yes Kaika... quite observant," he informed, as a way to buy time to think of a better answer. "Uh. I'll explain later." Easiest way out of this, but knowing Kaika, he would have no choice to explain later as she was not liable to forget easily.
And
the quill and
parchment arrived? What...from the Common Room? Unless he'd left his bag on the Entrance, it seemed the only obvious choice. Huh. So their things were already in the Common Room. Nice.
She could probably spend a few minutes celebrating the how punctual and awesome house-elves were if it weren't for Dominic answering the question she'd asked.
Quite observant? Everyone that was not eating could have seen the flying objects. She narrowed her eyes at him, for she thought he was being quite sarcastic. This Huffie boy will never change. Then again, which Huffie changed?
A smile was on her face,
"Oh, good, I'll try not to forget about this, then" she said, nodding. She was having a hard time picturing Dominic writing
anything, and she was not going to let this go. It seemed soooo strange, not to mention out of place.
And then pumpkin juice was all over the table. Correction. All over Dominic's robes. New robes by what he said. She pushed her lips together, not wanting to laugh at the current event. He had a tendency of being too sensitive with things belonging to him, after all.
Turns out Kaika wasn't precisely observant. She failed to notice that
their table was covered
in pumpkin juice. That's not so great, after all. Her eyes went over her own robes, and smiled smugly at the sight of no pumpkin juice in hers.
